For all courses and programs, the school will pay a full refund of all tuition and fees paid by a prospective student if: 1 a prospective student is not accepted by the school; 2 for classroom courses and programs, within three days after initial payment a student notifies the school of his or her intention to terminate the enrollment, provided that training has not started; 3 for correspondence courses and programs, within three days after initial payment a student notifies the school of his or her intention to terminate the enrollment; or 4 the school discontinues a course during the period of time within which a student could reasonably have completed the course as defined in the Standard of Progress above.
Refunds called for by provision 5 shall not apply in the event that the school ceases operation. Note that this cancellation charge does not apply to the full refund conditions described above, or to refunds under the Veterans Refund Policy set forth separately below. The refund percentages described here shall be applied to full tuition and fees actually paid by the student after deducting the cancellation charge, and not to books.

Postponement of a starting date, whether at the request of the school or the student, requires a written agreement signed by the student and the school.
The agreement must set forth: a Whether the postponement is for the convenience of the school or the student, and b A deadline for the new start date, beyond which the start date will not be postponed.

Any refund made by Kaplan Financial in accordance with our terms and conditions will be paid to the original payor. Funds received but not utilised or refunded in accordance with our terms and conditions will be forfeited to Kaplan Financial. Where study materials are supplied in conjunction with a course, they are included in the fees quoted and Kaplan Financial acts as agent for Kaplan Publishing Limited in collecting amounts payable to such company.
Any queries regarding any such study materials should be addressed to Kaplan Financial on behalf of Kaplan Publishing Limited or Gillards Worldwide Warehousing Limited. Such study materials will be of satisfactory quality but we do not warrant that they will be free of error.
The study materials which are included within the Live Online course will be despatched in accordance with the following delivery guidelines: Europe: delivery within approximately working days of despatch; and Malaysia: delivery within working days of despatch; and Rest of the World: delivery within approximately working days of despatch.
When ordering goods for delivery other than in the UK , you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination.
Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; Kaplan Financial has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. You must notify Kaplan Financial of any queries, complaints or short deliveries within 14 days of you receiving the study materials. No study materials will be despatched to you by Kaplan Publishing unless Kaplan Financial has received full payment in cleared funds from you or your employer.
Where credit terms have been agreed, no study material will be despatched until authorisation has been received from your employer. Change of tutors, courses dates and locations - Kaplan Financial reserves the right to change course dates, cancel courses, change tutors and locations from the published timetables at its discretion. A credit or refund will be offered to students if there is no alternative course to join.
Courses are not transferable between students - This applies to all Live Online, On Demand and Distance learning courses. Exams and exam results - Terms of enrolment on a Kaplan Financial course include your agreeing to Kaplan Financial obtaining your exam results from the relevant professional body. You are able to opt out of this by notifying the relevant professional body. Student conduct - Students are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner which demonstrates respect for Kaplan Financial and its staff, fellow students and property.
Breaches of the Student Code of Conduct can amount to gross misconduct, which may lead to expulsion from study without refund. Governing law - Students' arrangements with Kaplan Financial and Kaplan Publishing Limited are governed by English law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Intellectual property All intellectual property rights including, but not limited to, copyright in any course materials or other learning materials made available in connection with a course belong to Kaplan Financial or the applicable other Kaplan group company.
The student or other customer is only granted a non-transferrable, non-exclusive license to use the applicable such materials in a personal capacity in connection with study by such person on the applicable course and this license will terminate upon termination of study on such course. Students and other customers confirm that they will only use such materials for their own educational purposes and will not, without Kaplan Financial or the applicable other Kaplan group company's prior written consent, copy, make available, retransmit, reproduce, sell, license, distribute, publish, broadcast or otherwise circulate such materials other than in connection with the use permitted pursuant to this paragraph c by such persons but not any third parties.
Students and customers also confirm that they will indemnify Kaplan Financial or the applicable other Kaplan group company in respect of any infringement of any such intellectual property rights arising as a result of such student or customer's use in breach of the foregoing requirements. Online course and MyKaplan usernames and passwords are for personal use only and should not be passed to anyone else. You should protect your log-in information at all times. MyKaplan resources will be available if applicable to your course on your account for a limited period.
If this arises then Kaplan Financial may produce courses covering the new material. For the avoidance of doubt, the purchase of a current course does not as part of the original purchase price entitle access to future revised courses and further amounts may be due. Free Trial Period You are eligible for a free trial before you purchase a course with Kaplan. This will give you access to all the content and resources available to Kaplan students. Once the trial has expired after 5 days you will no longer have access to the content provided by Kaplan.
To continue using the resources available students must then enrol using one of the subscription models available. The free trial period cannot be extended unless due to extenuating circumstances.
Enrolment To enroll on a Kaplan course, you need to select your preferred subscription plan monthly, quarterly or annually. You then need to follow the steps at the checkout and add the course to the basket. After entering payment details, you are formally accepting the Kaplan terms and conditions. Kaplan can advise but it is the student's responsibility to organise this themselves.
By enrolling on a Kaplan course, you hereby give Kaplan permission to share your institute registration number with the institute body for the purpose of the result service.
You also give permission to the institute to share your exam results with Kaplan. These details will not be shared with any third party. The Study Text and Exam Kit will be available in a soft copy. Pocket Notes are excluded but can be purchased separately.
Revision Cards are excluded but can be purchased separately. The Study Manual and Question Bank are not included. Payment Depending on which plan you choose monthly, quarterly or annually charges will vary. You can place your order directly on our website and pay by debit or credit card.
You will be asked for your card details at the checkout where you can pay securely. Your order will then take 48 hours to be completed. Kaplan will continue to take payment either monthly, quarterly or annually until the student fully cancels the subscription.
You will be sent email reminders 1 week before payment is due. If payment fails a notification email is sent to the student. We will then try to take payment again after 3 days, if it fails again we will attempt after 5 days. Finally, if it still fails after 7 days the subscription will be cancelled and the access will be taken away.
As soon as payment is received the course will be made active again. Membership The fees will be payable in Malaysian Ringgit, Euros or Dollars If a student decides to cancel their subscription, they are not entitled to a refund for any previous months paid Monthly, Quarterly or Annually. If prices increase at any point in the agreement, students will be notified in advance. The membership will automatically renew unless we are notified otherwise.
If a student decides to upgrade or downgrade the subscription they need to get in touch with our customer services team via email. Students are responsible for managing their membership account. They can view their subscription details, edit payment details, cancel their subscription and view any past invoices. Kaplan can advise you on registration matters, but it is your ultimate responsibility to arrange this yourself. No hard copy material of the course is provided when using the Subscription service.
The integrated workbook will only be available in pdf format. Payment Depending on which Subscription plan you choose monthly, quarterly, or annually charges will vary. You can place your order directly on our website and pay by debit or credit card, which will become your registered card details for subsequent payments.
For subsequent payments, we will invoice you for payment either monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on your selected Subscription plan until you cancel your Subscription in accordance with paragraphs 2 or 4 of the Subscription section below.
If payment by the Subscription due date fails, a notification email is sent to you. We will then try to take payment again after 3 days, if it fails again we will attempt to take payment after 5 days. Finally, if payment continues to fail, after 7 days your Subscription will be canceled and your access to the course will cease. If payment fails and your Subscription is cancelled this will also cancel your ACCA student registration and result in the removal of any remaining exam credits from your ACCA account.
If you decide to cancel your Subscription, you are not entitled to a refund for any previous months paid monthly, quarterly or annually. Your Subscription will automatically renew unless we inform you otherwise or you notify us in advance in accordance with paragraph 4 below. If you decide to cancel or not renew your Subscription, you can do this online via your MyKaplan account or get in touch with our customer services team via email at nathan.

All amounts due must have been paid in full. Students must attempt the real exam. In the event of a student exam failure, proof of that failure must be provided to Kaplan Financial on application for the Pass Guarantee PG course. The Pass Guarantee is not transferable. The Pass Guarantee is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Pass Guarantee PG Course In the event of a failure: an OnDemand student will be entitled to access specialist online resit resources in MyKaplan free of charge for the subject to which the Pass Guarantee applies.
In order to validate the Pass Guarantee, the PG course must be attempted at each subsequent examination sitting, unless specified otherwise below. The Pass Guarantee will expire should an examination sitting be missed. In all cases the Pass Guarantee automatically expires once the exam is passed. Students must continue to attempt and submit a Mock Exam in line with submission deadlines, where applicable, and achieve the minimum requirements set out in section C above unless specified otherwise below.
Students attending a PG course may, where Kaplan course materials have been updated, or where a new Finance Act is now examinable, be required to purchase new course materials. To book a Live Online course under your pass guarantee, please contact Student Services at kaplanlearning kaplan. A student must make a reasonable attempt at all programmed course tests and mocks. Where applicable, scripts must be submitted for marking via MyKaplan in accordance with the relevant submission deadlines provided.

In the event of an exam failure Provided eligibility requirements have been met, a student will be entitled to the following support relating to the subject failed: Reattendance of a course or part of a course for a Live Online student, as detailed below. A Live Online student will be entitled to attend where available a subsequent Live Online course free of charge; To arrange enrolment on a subsequent course, please contact the student services via email - kaplanlearning kaplan.
The student must discuss their request with a Learning Coach or Student Services advisor who will advise on what would be best, based on their position. The latest online materials will be provided via MyKaplan on the new course. New printed materials will not be supplied. For ACCA - an online resit course via MyKaplan for a Live Online or OnDemand student, including a diagnostic module and where applicable checklist to identify the support needed, with additional online resources including a previously unseen mock.
To arrange enrolment on an online resit course the student must discuss their request with Student Services who will arrange enrolment within 3 working days. If no fee is paid the deferral will not be processed and your original course enrolment will still be valid even if you do not attend.
If the course is due to start more than two weeks in advance no deferral fee is payable. Completed courses cannot be deferred. Deferral fees will be due as follows. You may alternatively request to extend access to your existing content. Refund Policy Kaplan Financial reserves the right to use its discretion to determine whether to make refunds in particular instances.

If you end the contract for any reason after study materials have been dispatched to you or you have received them, you must return them to us. If you are exercising your right to change your mind you must send off the study materials within 14 days of telling us you wish to end the contract. When we will pay the costs of return.
