Can you terraform the nether

Fills in surface layers below the Terraformer with Dirt. Placing a Terraformer with a Flatification TFBP on bedrock will remove all natural blocks 20 blocks above the Terraformer and up to 50 blocks in each direction. All Ores will remain after the Terraformer has finished removing blocks allowing for easy mining. Turns Sand into Dirt and then into Grass. Will rarely spawn Water on surface areas that are below the Terraformer.

Avoid using Oak, Pine, or Birch logs within range of this active blueprint, as it will cause them to grow and sprout leaves. It is unknown whether or not Rubber and Jungle logs will do the same. It will change the current biome into a mushroom biome. In this biome, the terraformer will change dirt and grass into mycelium, and then plant mushrooms and giant mushrooms. This process may then repeat, turning the giant mushrooms into more mycelium and will plant normal and giant mushrooms again.

This has a chance of repeating again and again to create giant mushroom skyscrapers. Feed The Beast Wiki Explore. Major Mods. Explore Wikis Community Central. Register Don't have an account? I already kinda knew it wont work. I wanted to see for myself, but I ran into one problem: How to power it. I'm pretty new to FTB. I barely even got to play any Tekkit. So please forgive my n00bness I know you can power them with solar panels in the overworld, but how could I do it somewhere with no light? I would love to hear some tips on alternative power sources. I don't know much at all about Mj. I did some reading on it.

Would that even hook up to a terraformer? Poorgregtechfarmer New Member. Jul 29, 5 0 0. No, a terraformer is an ic2 item, so you could use geothermal generators. Reactions: Saice. Saice New Member. Also, whats the best way to get the most EU in the Twilight Forest? I've fallen in love with electrical engines, and I'de love to use them in a quarry.

I've been quarrying Hollow Hills. I even quarried a Litch castle Jul 29, 28 0 0. Magmatic Engines from Thermal Expansion are a great source for MJ in the nether and can be hooked up in the same exact method as Thermal Generators.

These also require Invar to craft, and the Invar you use to make a Thermal Generator can be used on the Magmatic Engine. I've never used a terraformer in the nether and am unsure of whether it would work or not, but that doesn't mean you don't have options for making your own Nether Paradise or making a nice resort for the Zombie Pigmen.

You can legitimately obtain still water blocks placeable in the Nether , grass, and mycelium through by making UU-Matter from EU with a mass or matter fabricator depending on which you have enabled in your configs.

If you happen to use bees, you can breed Nether Bees to have the Flower Pollination trait through regular means or splice the trait in with ExtraBees machinery. Place your flower-loving Nether Bees in an area with grass plain dirt may be fine, as well and just a single flower, and let your bees spread the flowery love around.

If you want to chance them burning down by Ghast Whining, you could also place some saplings with torches next to them, add bonemeal, and then have trees. Alternatively, use Mycelium and make the Nether into the Mushroom Kingdom too bad the Ghasts are far less cute than Boos.
